Yes Black African American Soldiers participated in this atrocity while enrolled in the US Army. Just things to think about. 

Depending on how you view the Choctaw's aid to the US Army days during 1812 and later during relocation is a matter of varying opinions amongst the different tribes.  I will honor them as I share a small blood with them to Per the Dawes.
